From Saturday 17 October to Saturday 31 October, The Little Red Cottage presents Ghosts of Gondwana, a solo exhibition by Kim Herringe.
Ghosts of Gondwana explores the lingering presence of flora connected to ancient worlds in the local landscape, and the emotional traces they leave behind. Grounded in memory and ecological connection, the exhibition reflects on what endures, what disappears and what continues to echo through the living landscape.
Through a new body of work, Kim Herringe draws attention to botanical forms and the quiet persistence of nature. The exhibition invites viewers into a space of reflection, where beauty, wonder and connection sit alongside one another. These works consider the relationship between past and present, absence and survival, and the fragile threads that bind us to the more-than-human world.
Set within the intimate and welcoming space of The Little Red Cottage, the exhibition offers a chance to slow down and spend time with works that speak to ecology, transformation, and the layered presence of the past in the present. As a solo exhibition, Ghosts of Gondwana brings together a focused exploration of these ideas through Kim Herringe’s distinctive visual language and ongoing engagement with nature-based themes.
Visitors are invited to experience the exhibition across the three-weekend, two-week showing and encounter a thoughtful body of work grounded in place, materiality and the quiet persistence of botanical life.
