Join local artists Barry Smith and Fiona Dempster as they bring their most recent works to The Red Cottage. Following several months in Scotland, Barry’s postcard sized watercolour paintings of traditional buildings, boats and bridges honour the history, place and stories of the Scottish Highlands. Fiona’s sterling silver pebble-inspired jewellery shares her love of pebbles and their place as memory-makers and holders. The pebble and stony beaches of the far North Coast of Scotland are a constant source of inspiration.
Both artists explore many different mediums, and alongside these new works, Barry and Fiona will also show metal-work, artists’ books, poetry booklets and more.
The show is the perfect place to purchase unique and one-off gifts for family and friends; or something special for yourself.
