Connected to Bunya Country brings together artists from across the region, Australia and abroad in a rich exhibition celebrating the beauty, meaning and fragility of Bunya Country.

Presented at The Little Red Cottage, this exhibition invites visitors into a visual conversation about the majestic Bunya trees and the ecosystems of the Glass House Mountains. Through painting, sculpture and mixed media, the works explore connection to Country, ecological health and the growing need to care for places of deep environmental and cultural importance.

The exhibition sits within a wider moment of environmental awareness and action, running alongside the Beyond Bunya Dieback Symposium. Together, these events highlight both the wonder of this landscape and the urgent challenges it faces. Connected to Bunya Country offers space not only to reflect on the beauty of these environments, but also to consider our shared responsibility to protect them.

Featuring local, interstate and international artists, including First Nations voices, the exhibition brings many perspectives into one shared space. Each work adds to a broader story of place, respect and connection.
