Artists on the Range 2025

Saturday 29 November - Saturday 7 December 2025

Opening event Saturday 29 November 3pm

This early summer, The Little Red Cottage will present Artists on the Range 2025, a group exhibition celebrating the creative talent of the Blackall Range and the many ways artists respond to place. Running from Saturday 29 November to Sunday 7 December 2025, the exhibition will bring together five well-known local artists in a vibrant end-of-year show at The Little Red Cottage in Maleny.

Featuring work across painting, printmaking, paper sculpture, watercolour, monoprint and woodcut, Artists on the Range 2025 promises a rich and varied exhibition filled with new work. The exhibition will offer visitors the chance to experience a diverse mix of styles and materials, with each artist bringing their own perspective, process, and connection to the region.

Set in the warm gallery space above Forest Heart ecoNursery on Coral Street, the exhibition will shine a light on the strength of local artistic practice and the creative spirit of the Range. From striking paintings to finely crafted works on paper, Artists on the Range 2025 will be a chance to discover work that speaks of landscape, community, and the character of this place.

The exhibition will run daily from 10am to 4pm and will be open for nine days only, making it a special opportunity to visit during the busy lead-up to the holiday season. Visitors are also invited to join the opening gathering on Saturday 29 November at 3pm for drinks, nibbles, and a chance to meet the artists.

Warm, welcoming, and full of surprises, Artists on the Range 2025 will offer a festive close to the exhibition year at The Little Red Cottage and a chance to celebrate the depth of artistic life on the Blackall Range.
