Opening event Saturday 29th August 3-5pm

As spring arrives on Jinibara Country, the Little Red Cottage - art + ecology space will burst into colour with Bloom – A Celebration of Wildflowers, a group exhibition inspired by the extraordinary beauty and diversity of Australian native flora.

Featuring works by local and regional artists, the exhibition will explore wildflowers through a rich variety of artistic mediums including painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, photography and mixed media. Local First Nations artists will also share works that celebrate the deep cultural connections between people, plants and Country.

From delicate ground orchids and wallum treasures to banksias, wattles and flowering gums, Bloom invites visitors to slow down and appreciate the remarkable stories, ecological relationships and seasonal rhythms held within our native landscapes.

Join us in celebrating spring through art, creativity and connection to the natural world.
